Our high-flying vision at Kelluu is to transform airships into a new, compact, high-tech form and answer the ever-increasing threat to our lives due to the climate change crisis. By scanning and collecting real-time data from the air with Kelluu airships, we can prevent and minimize, for example, wildfires, floods, and other natural disasters globally, all with nearly zero emissions. https://kelluu.com/
We're looking for an Airship technician to work in the only airship factory in Northern Europe!
You are a hands-on person on the manufacturing team who builds airships and innovates and fabricates tools needed in the manufacturing process in close co-operation with R&D department. We expect that you have experience and personal interest in all things mechanical – that is a must. In addition to this, we appreciate experience within one or more of the following areas:
- composite laminating works,
- and aluminum works.
So if you solve everyday problems with things you build, you are the one who always disassembles things to see how they work, and perhaps you also have a garage full of power tools, a 3D printer, or metal working tools, you name it... you are the type of person we need.
We will guarantee you an adventure, something that has yet to be done in Nordics. You will develop, have highs and lows, and produce the most incredible stuff that’s floating in the air. We also have our people covered with nice benefits, daily lunches at the office, an excellent team, and career opportunities.
Knowledge of the Finnish language is optional, but you must be able to communicate in English to work with our international airship development team. The work takes place in our airship factory in Joensuu, Finland (located approximately 5 hours away from the capital Helsinki). The factory is located seven kilometers off from the Joensuu city center and is reachable by bus or car. If you move to Finland from abroad, our HR team can help you with practicalities. We can provide a salary of 2500 - 3500 € / month, based on your experience level.
Want to build airships with us? Apply by the 12th of November. We are interviewing suitable candidates during the application period so be sure to leave your info soon!
