Electronics Engineer

We are looking for an Electronics Engineer to join our team. In your role, you will dive into technical details together with other team members and ensure that our airship fleet is robust and works the way it's supposed to. A driven Electronics Engineer takes charge of developing and designing our airship’s electronics system and has total responsibility in this area. You would play a crucial role in our team and collaborate with other departments daily to ensure compatibility and the performance of the Kelluu airship.
Here’s what you should handle:
- Compiling compatibility guidelines, reliability analysis, and improvement roadmaps
- Having the overall responsibility for electronics and working alongside the R&D team and our technicians in all development & manufacturing matters
- Strong understanding of EMC/EMI shielding and RF-antenna design
- A good overall technical understanding of principles when designing robust UAV or moving machinery systems
- Experience or interest in Nvidia NX Jetson is a plus.
What we look for in your background:
- Extensive experience in the electronics field. You already have designing experience in robotics, moving machinery, etc. domain
- Knowledge of reliability analysis and ability to find alternatives when needed
- Conducting simulations and tests to ensure performance and reliability
- Capability to lead our subcontractors in manufacturing and requirements
- We endorse psychological safety and innovation as the core of our R&D teams and want to maintain them
- M.sc or Ph.D. degree in electrical or electronics engineering.

The salary is somewhere between 3500-5000e/month, depending on your skill level and expertise.
You get help from the company management and our talented R&D team. The work takes place in our airship factory in Joensuu or our new site in Tampere. The work requires occasional travel between these two sites. If you move to Finland from abroad, our HR team can help you with practicalities.
