We’re looking for a skilled HSEQ professional to join us on a freelance basis and ensure our projects meet the highest safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ)
Manager or Specialist for a project-based freelance role. You will support the
development and deployment of our autonomous airship technology, focusing on a
specific project phase (prototype testing, manufacturing, or operational scaling). This
role is critical to ensuring compliance with Finnish and EU regulations, managing risks
associated with hydrogen use and aerial operations, and maintaining our commitment to sustainability and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HSEQ plans tailored to the project, including risk
  assessments for hydrogen-powered airships and autonomous systems.
• Ensure compliance with local (Finnish) and international safety and
  environmental regulations (EU aviation standards, hydrogen handling protocols,
  production safety).
• Collaborate with engineers to integrate HSEQ considerations into design and
  operational processes.
• Deliver training or briefings to project teams on safety protocols and emergency
  procedures.
• Prepare documentation for audits, certifications, or stakeholder reviews as
  needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (5+ years) as an HSEQ Manager or Specialist, ideally in
  aviation, aerospace, renewable energy, or hydrogen-related projects.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations (Finnish/EU
  standards a plus).
• Familiarity with risk management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and remotely, with strong communication skills for
  virtual collaboration.
• Fluency in English and Finnish.
