We need someone who turns data, problems, hopes, and wishes into solutions — and ships them. You’ll own the product thinking behind Kelluu’s internal AI tools: finding the real problems across the organisation, prototyping fast, and driving ideas from vibecode to production.

We’re a Finnish deep-tech company, headquartered in Joensuu with offices in Helsinki and Tampere. We’ve just closed our Series A, the team is growing fast, the goals are ambitious, and we’re hiring people who want to build something that matters.

Our technology is flight-proven and operational. We’re a NATO DIANA alumni with several thousands of hours of autonomous BVLOS flight experience, active programmes across multiple nations, and a rapidly growing team. We operate in both defence and civilian markets: the same technology that supports border security also monitors critical infrastructure and the environment.

Why this role exists

We’re not starting from zero. Our CEO and management team are already building with AI. The organisation knows where it’s going — now we need someone to own this.

What we want to achieve

• Multiply our impact by combining AI with deep understanding of our goals, domain, and operational reality

• Replace clunky off-the-shelf SaaS with purpose-built AI tools that actually serve our needs

• Build internal AI capabilities that make every department radically more productive

What you’ll own

• Own the product lifecycle of internal AI tools: from discovering the real problem to shipping the solution

• Dig out pain points and opportunities from across the organisation, even when people can’t articulate them yet

• Translate business context, goals, and operational hurdles into clear agent specs and priorities

• Run a tight daily loop: morning spec → agents build → afternoon review, test, iterate → repeat

• Think in outcomes and business impact, not just features and automation

• Ensure every solution is designed to scale across the organisation

• Own the finish line — not just prototypes, but reliable tools that go to production

• Keep the org informed on what’s possible and what’s coming in AI

The impact you’ll have:

• You’ll be the person who enables others to free their time for things that only humans can do

• Your work will directly shape how a fast-scaling deep-tech company operates — the tools you build become the way Kelluu works

• You start every day deciding what an AI agent should go build — and by evening you see results

Your team

You’ll work closely with our AI Lead and Head of Software on technical foundations, and with the CEO and every department head to understand their needs and deliver solutions. You’re the bridge between what AI can do and what the business needs done.

We’re building the team as we speak, and you’ll be paired with a person who handles infrastructure, security, and compliance — so you can focus on fast prototyping.

What success looks like

By 3 months, you will have:

• Shipped your first internal AI tools to production

• Established your daily build loop and built trust with department heads as someone who delivers, not just demos

By 6 months:

• Multiple departments are using AI tools you’ve built as part of their daily workflow

• You’ve replaced off-the-shelf SaaS tools with purpose-built solutions that are measurably better

By 12 months:

• Kelluu’s internal AI tooling is a genuine competitive advantage — the organisation operates at a level that wouldn’t be possible without what you’ve built

What we’re looking for

You’ll thrive here if you are:

• A “let’s get this done” builder and a product thinker who happens to be technical

• You understand agent architectures, prompt engineering, and workflows, but your main job is to prototype fast and own the way we do this throughout the org

• Someone who sees a clunky process and immediately starts sketching the solution — you don’t wait for someone to write a ticket

• The person who asks “what are we actually trying to achieve?” and doesn’t stop until you get a real answer

• Fast to build, but you know when to move on to polishing — and when something isn’t worth the effort

• Serious about the last mile — you care about production-grade tools that people rely on daily

• Able to explain complex AI concepts to non-technical people so they actually understand

• Obsessive about staying current — you read AI news daily, scan and try out new tools constantly, and always know what’s just become possible

• A systems thinker — you see how one solution connects to the next and design for the big picture

• Someone who understands information security and handles data like it matters

Even better if you also have:

• Experience working in a scaling startup where priorities shift fast

• On-prem knowledge and experience

• Salary range: 5000-6000€/month

Kelluu is a dual-use deep-tech company at the intersection of autonomy, AI, and aerial intelligence. We build technology that serves both national security and society, and we take that responsibility seriously.

We’re scaling fast, which means you’ll have real influence on how things are built. The flipside: things move quickly, priorities shift, and everyone wears a few hats. If you want a finished playbook and a clear lane, this probably isn’t the right fit. If you want to write the playbook yourself, it might be exactly right.

Due to the nature of our business in the defence and dual-use sectors, the selected candidate must successfully pass a standard security clearance. Furthermore, certain roles are subject to international export control regulations (e.g., EU Dual-Use or ITAR), which may impose specific requirements regarding the candidate’s citizenship and background.
